Commplex Solutions Ltd Conditions of Sale

All orders for goods are accepted by Commplex Solutions Ltd subject to the following conditions which shall form part of and govern the contract of sale. 
Acceptance of goods shall be deemed to be acceptance of these conditions of sale.

1. Definitions
1stedition.co.uk is a trading name of Commplex Solutions Ltd (hereinafter) referred to as the vendor

2. Availability of goods
All items on our website are offered subject to availability. If an item ordered is out of stock the vendor will notify the purchaser by e-mail within 3 working days of the order being placed.

3. Claims
It is your responsibility to check the goods on delivery.

We make every effort to package our books so that they will reach you in the same condition they left us but on the rare occasion the parcel is damaged in transit please contact us within 3 days of receipt. Please keep all the packaging as we may need the package returned or more likely photographic evidence of the damage to claim against the postal services or our insurers. Subject to evidence of the damage we will arrange a full refund or if we can find another copy we will try to replace the item.

4. Returns Policy.
We strive to ensure that our books are described as accurately as possible but if you wish to return the book then please contact us by email for return authorisation before returning the item. Books must be returned within 7 days of receipt. We will refund the full book price for all returned items received. In addition if we agree the book was not as described we will refund the original shipping charge. The purchaser is responsible for the return shipping charges and the insurance of all books returned shall be at the purchasers risk until actual receipt by the vendor. We recommend that you obtain a certificate of posting and additional insurance cover for more valuable items. We regret we cannot refund return shipping charges. 

5. Consequential Loss
The extent of the vendors liability to the purchaser shall not exceed the invoice value of the goods and the vendor shall not be liable to the purchaser in respect of any loss or damage whether direct, indirect, consequential or however else arising.

6. Law
If any part of these terms and conditions shall be found to be unlawful it shall not affect the validity or enforceability of the remainder of the 
conditions. The contract is and shall be deemed to have been made in England and shall in all respects be governed by English Law. In respect of consumer sales your statutory rights are unaffected by these terms and conditions.

7. Acknowledgements
The vendor recognises and acknowledges the rights of all copyright and trademark owners where used on websites.
